This document will cover all of the new security permissions that are associated with NERIS, and what they do
You will find your NERIS security permissions under System Security:
Then click on your System Security Tab, and scroll down to the NERIS module
View Incidents:
- When enabled, allows users to view NERIS incidents and View the NERIS module from the RedAlert Desktop Application, and the RedAlert Mobile App
Edit Incidents:
- When enabled, allows the user to edit NERIS incidents within the NERIS module from the RedAlert Desktop Application, and the RedAlert Mobile App
Add Incident Report:
- When enabled, allows the user to Create new NERIS incident reports within the RedAlert Desktop Application
Delete Incident Report:
- When enabled, allows the user to delete NERIS incidents from the RedAlert Desktop Application
Incident Setup:
When enabled, allows the user to access the NERIS setup dropdown, and change the module settings within the setup view in the RedAlert Desktop Application
Incident Attendance:
- When enabled, allows the user to change and add attendance to a NERIS incident from RedAlert
Edit Approved Incident:
- When enabled, allows the user to make changes and edits to an Approved NERIS incident from RedAlert Desktop, and RedAlert Mobile App
Device Access History:
- When enabled, allows the user to view the access history for external devices like kiosks, and other machines tied to the department database within the RedAlert Desktop Application
Submit Incident:
- When enabled, allows the user to submit an approved NERIS incident directly to NERIS within the RedAlert Desktop Application
View Incident Images:
- When enabled, allows the user to view incident images within the NERIS report from the RedAlert Desktop Application, and RedAlert Mobile Apps
- If disabled, the user cannot view, edit, or add images into the NERIS incidents
Cannot Edit Incident Times:
- When enabled, prevents the user from editing any times within a NERIS incident report
- If Edit Incidents is enabled, and Cannot Edit Incident Times: are enabled, the user can edit a NERIS incident report, but the user cannot edit any dispatch times, tactical times, medical times, or unit times within the NERIS report from the RedAlert Desktop Application, and RedAlert Mobile Apps
Edit Advanced EMS Report:
- This works in tandem with the Enable Advanced EMS Report checkbox that is found in NERIS Setup.
- This allows for departments to fill out more in depth EMS information that is NOT required with NERIS, but that they want to track in their system
- When enabled, allows the user to edit the advanced EMS report
View Advanced EMS Report:
When enabled, allows the user to view the EMS Report button below an EPCR if the advanced EMS report is enabled for the department
NERIS Incident Review:
- When enabled, allows the user to access the incident reviewing panel and to review NERIS incidents
- The reviewer panel can be enabled in NERIS setup with the Incident reviewer checkbox
Edit Incident Number:
- When enabled, allows the user to edit and change the incident number of a NERIS report
Edit Past Time Period:
- When Enabled, this allows the user to edit a locked NERIS Incident report if your department has the Hours to Edit Incident function enabled in NERIS setup here:
