2025 will be the last year for submitting NFIRS reports to the State or the USFA.
Below are the instructions on how to generate your final NFIRS disk submission, and submit the files to the OFPC
In your RedNMX system, go to: NFIRS dropdown - > disk submission
From there, enter the dates where you want the report to start, and end, and your agency number, then click generate.
It will ask you where in the system to place the download, you can choose for it to go "downloads" If you want to.
Then the file we need to submit to validation will be in downloads usually titled with the state of your department, followed by your FDID, an example being NY12345.txt
Once you have your disk submission file you can submit the document to your state specific submission portal.
For New York State departments, you can email the file to ofpc.nfirs5@dhses.ny.gov to submit your submission.
