The rescue tab is where you will track any loss of life, rescue efforts, or injuries
You will see the records relating to the rescue or casualty in this section:
To add a rescue or casualty, click new in the bottom left-hand corner
Then enter in the information regarding the individual involved in the rescue or injury
Civilian / Non-Firefighter:
For non-personnel injuries and casualties, the process varies slightly.
Then in the casualty section, you would enter the nature of the injury or cause of death
The rescue section would contain if rescue was needed, and if the presence was known
Fire Fighter:
The personnel casualty or rescue information is tracked differently than a civilian report to track more pertinent information
The casualty tab is where you would enter the information of what occurred to the individual
You can enter in the following:
- If they were a casualty, uninjured, or injured non-fatal
- Cause of casualty
- Duty State and Job Classification
- Action During Incident
- Responding Unit and unit continuity
- Stage of the Incidents
- Incident Command
- Type of PPE worn
Then underneath the rescue is where you would log if rescue was needed for the member at the incident.
- Rescue Type
- Mayday Called?
- Relative suppression time
- RIT Team Activated?
