The Hazardous situation tab covers any chemicals that were present and their disposition
This is where you can select the disposition or outcome of the hazardous situation, and the number of occupants needing to be evacuated.
To add a chemical, you can click new in the bottom left corner
Then you can enter the following:
- Name of the chemical if known
- The DOT Classification of the Hazard
- Did release occur?
- Release information
- Estimated amount released by measurement
- Physical state of the chemical (Gas, Liquid, Solid etc.)
- What caused the release?
- Where did it release into?
- Release information
If you do not know the chemical name, you can click the Search box
Then you can search by different criteria to find the specific chemical you are looking for:
Once selected it will be added to the chemical list.
